Fans of the smash hit 1984 film Ghostbusters are to get special edition Lego figures and can build a spectre-hunting car to celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary. Danish toy company Lego has unveiled its first ever Ghostbusters set, which includes the iconic Ecto-1 car and characters of all four comedy heroes. Ivan Reitman’s comedy Ghostbusters, starring Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd, first hit the screen in 1984 and spawned a two not so good sequels.
The 508-piece Lego set features the team’s paranormal detection equipment, iconic Ghostbusters logo and the four figures will all have their ghost-hunting backpacks. Super-fan Brent Waller got the chance to design the kit, on sale in June, after receiving more than 10,000 votes as part of Lego’s CUUSOO campaign to allow fans to come up with their own sets.
